1. We Foster Opportunities

We're dedicated to creating pivotal opportunities for impoverished micro-entrepreneurs. Our focus is on enhancing their quality of life, recognizing their significant role as the backbone of the Philippine economy. The vast number of micro-entrepreneurs holds the potential to catalyze growth in small and medium enterprises, contributing immensely to poverty reduction and the nation's progress.

To drive this transformation, we continuously introduce demand-oriented technological innovations and refine our Micro-Enterprise Development (MED) operations. These strategic upgrades aim to expedite the progression of micro-businesses into robust small and medium-scale enterprises, ensuring rapid growth and sustainable economic impact.

2. We Speak up for the Needy and Children

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” Proverbs 31:8-9 (NIV)

We tirelessly advocate for the rights of the enterprising poor and children, ensuring access to fundamental necessities like proper nutrition, education, healthcare, adequate housing, and a safe natural environment. We champion their right to earn a dignified living through micro-enterprising and employment opportunities. Our voice stands firmly in support of entrepreneurs, fostering an environment where they can thrive, expand, and evolve into small and medium-scale enterprises, thus contributing significantly to the economic growth of the Philippines.

We also collaborate with government, local as well as international organizations sharing our core values, we strive to help the needy create income from their tiny enterprises. And our commitment extends to advocating for policies and legislation conducive to the growth and prosperity of marginalized sectors. Recognizing that micro-enterprises serve as the bedrock for the emergence of small and medium-scale enterprises, we champion initiatives that uplift and empower these vital foundations of our society.

3. We Bring Hope

Within our micro-enterprise communities, hope in Christ shines brightly for the impoverished and marginalized. Over four decades, our work has been abundantly blessed. Since our inception, across five hundred branches spanning seventy-one provinces in the Philippines, we've collectively impacted the lives of more than five million individuals. Encouraged by this milestone, we're redoubling our efforts, aiming to extend renewed hope to five million impoverished households, by God’s grace.

4. We Care for the environment

The stewardship and preservation of our natural environment stand as the primary directive bestowed upon us by God, for we are intrinsically connected to our surroundings. It's our sacred responsibility to safeguard this environment, recognizing that a healthy environment is an essential prerequisite for the well-being of everyone especially the most vulnerable in society. Former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon rightly affirmed that "reducing poverty, hunger, and advancing human well-being are intricately linked to a sustainable environment."

Our efforts have been centered on raising awareness and implementing programs dedicated to environmental protection. Our commitment persists in advocating for and executing robust waste management initiatives and reforestation campaigns, with a targeted goal of nurturing and planting 5 million trees.

5. We Empower Lives through God's Grace

The transformation unfolding in diverse communities stands as a testament to God's grace. Through microenterprise development, we stand alongside underprivileged families and their children, offering them hope and the richness of life in Christ. We deeply recognize that authentic transformation is a divine work, shaped by God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

In pursuit of these values, we meticulously crafted the APPEND LIFE Series—a collection of devotional books and an all-inclusive training program encompassing leadership, devotion to God, love for families and country, and the dedicated advocacy for upholding children's rights. This initiative strives to nurture essential values such as responsibility, love, and environmental stewardship. Our conviction remains steadfast: nurturing communities grounded in ethical conduct, responsibility, and industrious entrepreneurship lays a robust foundation for national peace and prosperity.
